Workforce Development - Information Technology Cybersecurity

• CMS Trainings offers A+, Network+, and Security+ cybersecurity workforce development programs, to meet the needs of employers and employees alike. 
• Trainings are available in-person or live online instructor-led sessions as specified for each course. 
• The PenTest+ is a specialized skill after completing the cybersecurity program.

A+ Core 1 (Intro to Security): This 80-hour online instructor-led course prepares students for CompTIA certification, specifically the CompTIA A+ certification. The format includes 4-hour live online classes per session, which are designed to enhance your skills in IT Cyber Security as part of our workforce development programs. 

• Pre-Requisite: GED or High School Diploma
• Industry Certification Requirements: CompTIA A+ Core 1 exam (students take the exam within 2 weeks of training completion).

A+ Core 2: This 80-hour online instructor-led course prepares students for CompTIA certification, specifically the CompTIA A+ certification. The format includes 4-hour live online classes per session, which are designed to enhance your skills in IT Cyber Security as part of our workforce development programs. 

• Pre-Requisite: A+ (Core 1)
• Industry Certification Requirements: CompTIA A+ Core 2 exam (students take the exam within 2 weeks of training completion).

 This 80-hour course prepares students for the CompTIA certification, specifically the CompTIA Network+ certification. Participants will learn various networking tools and techniques essential for IT Cyber Security. The curriculum covers concepts and skills for working with routers and networking devices, as well as designing and managing networks to effectively monitor business networks. Classes are conducted as 4-hour live online sessions. 

• Pre-Requisite: A+ (Core 1 and 2)
• Industry Certification Requirements: CompTIA Network+ N10-009 exam (students take the exam within 2 weeks of training completion), contributing to workforce development programs.

 This 80-hour online instructor-led course prepares students for the CompTIA certification, specifically the CompTIA Security+ exam. Learn about IT Cyber Security, focusing on the security of various devices, networks, hardware, software, and data. The course covers industry terminology and explores options for responding to threats and attacks in different environments. Classes are conducted in 4-hour live online sessions. 

• Pre-Requisite: A+ (Core 1 and 2); Network+
• Industry Certification Requirements: CompTIA PenTest+ exam (students take the exam within 2 weeks of training completion), contributing to workforce development programs.

 The PenTest+ is a specialized skill after completing the cybersecurity program.
